Design Process

• Our first thoughts were of emulating the air valve that many sleeping pads feature.
• Two important aspects: blow in to inflate, unscrew to deflate.
• The product is entirely composed of Polylactic plastic, which is easy to manipulate for 3D printing
• Additionally, Polylactic plastic decomposes extremely effectively.
• For helium balloons, we are working on a pump system that will work in tandem with the basic airvalve.
